Top 3 most expensive apartments in the Big Apple - 2012

A countdown of the top 3 apartments that were for sale last year in NYC. They were all listed between an eyewatering $95million and $100million!!!
So what can you get for the bucks exactly...well a 7,000sq ft apartment with 7-bed and 7-baths....a 8,000sq ft penthouse apartment on West 56th Street with 6-beds and 9-baths...or a 5-bed, 5.5-bath at One57 on Central Park West!

Take your pick, to be honest im not fussy.

A new year, a new post

Things may have been quiet on here over the past few months, but things in my life have been anything but! So a new year calls for more regular posts. To start with I will be posting about things that have occurred since the summer and mix in with new things that I find along the way :)
Here is to 2013 being the year!

World's most expensive one-bedroom flat!!

A perfect first time home, one-bedroom apartment in the centre of Tokyo. Living room, formal dining room and casual dining room, kitchen, bedroom with ensuite and walk in wardrobe...sounds ideal, well be ready to shell out a rather steep £15million for the pleasure!!
It has been beautifully furnished by the owner and the stunning interior features the best products and materials.

412 square meter penthouse on the 10th floor

Worth the price tag?

A new hotel has opened its doors in Knightsbridge to accommodate those that can afford to spend £1000 per night for a basic hotel room, let alone the penthouse at £14,400 a night!!!
The Bvlgari Hotel in London's Knightsbridge is plonked right opposite the One Hyde Park multimillion pound development where flats have sold for tens of millions is THE most expensive place to stay in the whole of Britain.

Book Alert!!!

I picked this book up a couple of weeks ago and at £12.99 I think it was a great buy. For a student like me or for professionals it has details of good exhibitions, architectural gems, retail fitouts and restaurant wonders that should be visited. And the fact that it lasts for two years makes it even more useful, well worth the investment.
Get yourself down to London town, or check out the website londondesignguide ahead of your trip!

Re-Inventing Waiting

Schiphol departure lounge 4 has had a facelift. With green sofas, illuminated plane shaped benches and bleecher style seating its a very unique design. For those that need to plug in there has been more than 100 plug sockets incorporated. There is something for everyone and to keep children entertained there is a slide! It has all been designed by Tjep, a dutch design company.
