Photo-Genius

I played around with a new camera whilst in Paris and here are the results, some of my favourite.

Au Revior Paris...

My 5 days in Paris has been unbelievable, it went so quickly! 5 days seems a long time but there was still so many things I would have loved to do. I didnt have much luck with the Eiffel Tower (As we got to the front of the queue the lift broke and it was all closed down) and the Louvre (Didnt open until 11 on the day we went home, and we had to be at Gare du Nord at 12). There will have to be another visit just to do the things I didnt. I did however see the Arc du Triomphe, went on a boat trip, saw the Pompidou Centre and Notre Dame and I definately cant complain about the weather.

We were sunning ourselves outside on the roof terrace at Printemps one afternoon and getting very hot indeed.

And we treated ourselves to a meal out at Kong, and amazing restaurant right by the river which has been designed by Phillip Stark.

Cocktails at 'La Vue' - The bar on the 34th floor of the Concorde La Fayette Hotel, close to the Champs Elysees.

Pinterest Takeover

Pinterest is a reasonably new website which is quickly becoming very popular with myself, friends and fellow students. Its a quick and easy way to collate images together onto what they call pinboards. They can be called whatever you like and can contain any numbers of images. So 'PinIt', 'Like' and 'RePin' any that you like and build up an image bank that you can use for work inspiration, decorating or just for personal use.
You have to be invited by someone thats already on it or you can request an invite for yourself. Get Pinning people!!

Paris - Hotel Concorde 'La Vue' Bar

In preperation for my trip to Paris next week, I have been looking into great bars and restaurants to visit along with things to do during the day. A friend has recommended the 'La Vue' bar on the 34th floor at the Hotel Concorde, and I can see why. The amazing views make up for the huge drinks prices, with great views both during the day and at night. The city never looked so great :)
